Whats new in version 3.0.2:
- Change: Saving pages in archives by default can now be prevented by changing the file type in the "Save As" dialog in Firefox 29 and later versions.
- Fix: The toolbar button of the Work Offline add-on was corrupted in Firefox 28.
Publisher review:Mozilla Archive Format is a single-file format plug-in for Firefox that contains one or more web pages, images, or other downloadable content.
It allows you to save disk space, since MAFF is based on ZIP, including video and audio, WebM, Vorbis, Theora and more.
You can use an open format, with no risk of vendor lock-in.
Compared to other web archive formats, it is particularly suited to package video and audio together with related web resources. This ability derives from the basic structure of the ZIP container, where compression can be used for web pages, and verbatim storage for content that require fast streaming access and wouldn't benefit from being re-compressed, like most video and audio formats.
